I spent most of my life in an environment that was not supportive of my true identity, and I was unsure of who I really was. That disconnect fueled anxiety, depression, weight gain, painful cystic acne, digestive disorders, chronic fatigue, headaches, and loneliness. I became known as "weird", "broken", and "not good enough". However, I found that none of those identities applied when I spent time outdoors. I was not raised in the mountain forests that I came to love, so at first I went wherever I could find nature in the suburbs. 
     I moved to the northern California redwoods where I learned about botany, mycology, herbal medicine, foraging, and forest stewardship. Nature's ecological systems and indigenous wisdom inspired me to radically rethink my relationship to the environment, to others, and myself. I began to reverse my health challenges, developed a sense of purpose, and became empowered to make change in the world. I moved to greener pastures in New Hampshire where I found a moose within a year, a feat I was told was impossible. After achieving "the impossible", I decided to tackle a few other metaphorical moose. After working with a strength training and mindset coach I lost 20 lbs, picked up nature photography, and starting cooking delicious and nutritious meals from scratch at home and on the trail. I then became a coach myself, so that I could help other people reach their wellness goals.
     I am excited to be your trail guide to overcoming the obstacles preventing you from reaching your peak, whether that's finding the inspiration to hit the trail again, hit the trail even harder, lose weight, gain muscle, defeat constant fatigue, change a habit for good, or start cooking from scratch at home or on the summit.
